The PGA TOUR travels to the Monterey Peninsula for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this week. Here's how the PGATOUR.COM experts sized up the top contenders:

BRANDT SNEDEKER. It's tough to tell if Snedeker will run out of sleeper eligibility or starts on my fantasy golf team first. With back-to-back top 10s, and the No. 3 all-around ranking on TOUR, there may not be much time left for either. |
Ryan Smithson |
 | PAUL GOYDOS. Had this event won last year until his final-round 78. Will always be a great fantasy pick for these three courses. An unpredictable player who couldn't break 70 the month before he shot 59. |
Brian Wacker |
ALEX CEJKA. He's hitting more greens and putting better than he did a year ago, and he's had a couple of solid results at Pebble Beach before, including a tie for 10th a year ago. He backed that with a tie for 8th at the U.S. Open. |
John Swantek |
JOSEPH BRAMLETT. Keep an eye on this northern California kid who could capitalize on his familiarity with Pebble Beach. Jhonattan Vegas has quickly disproved the theory that rookies can't contend right away. |
John Schwarb |
STEVE MARINO. One of the best players on TOUR without a win, Marino wasn't far from erasing that tag in the full-field season opener by finishing T2 at Sony. He's also got good karma working at Pebble, finishing fourth last year. |
Anne Szeker |
DAVID DUVAL. Is he actually 'close' this time? He was the runner-up here last year and has played well in his last two starts, including a T14 at the Farmers Insurance Open on another course in the U.S. Open rotation. Here's hoping!. |

WEBB SIMPSON. His history at Pebble Beach isn't stellar, but I like the way this former Wake Forest All-American is playing right now. He tied for 13th at the Bob Hope Classic and shared eighth Sunday -- or was it Monday -- in Phoenix. |
Lauren Deason |
TOM GILLIS. His first of three top 10s came in this event last year. Gillis led the TOUR in birdie average in 2010, so he can definitely post some good numbers on this three-course tour of the Monterey Peninsula. |
Mike McAllister |
GARY WOODLAND. Two top-5s in his last three starts and he hits it a mile. If Dustin Johnson has shown us anything the last two years, it's that big hitters tend to fare pretty well in this event. |

| Standings after Week 4 |
LAST WEEK: Chris Dunham picked up a second consecutive top-5 finish, and first place overall, with Gary Woodland's strong showing at TPC Scottsdale.
