SANDY, Utah -- In 2008, Bryan DeCorso won his lone Nationwide Tour tournament title -- the South Georgia Classic.

Tuesday night at Willow Creek Country Club, site of this week's Utah Championship, DeCorso picked up another professional victory. While that tournament victory in Valdosta, Ga., three years ago is still No. 1 on DeCorso's hit parade, his dominating victory in the annual Utah Championship Mustache Contest is at least 1A.
"I rank this right behind my win," said DeCorso, flashing a wide smile that was surrounded by a Fu-Manchu and a soul patch framed by, as he called them, "big, old lamb chop sideburns."
For a guy born in 1971, the look seemed to fit.
With all 14 contestants -- seven players, three caddies and four staffers -- lined up for the judging by a panel that included Nationwide Tour President Bill Calfee, it was DeCorso who systematically dominated his competition.
"I didn't play in Columbus (at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational). So while I was at home, I grew a full beard," DeCorso said of his journey to facial hair fame. "Last year I didn't place in the contest, so I decided I needed to switch it up. This morning I went all out, shaving the beard but leaving behind what you see right now."
Seriously, did Da Vinci ever sculpt anything this incredible?
DeCorso now has to decide if he will maintain his new look for the remainder of the week or pick up the razor. "I'm not sure," he said. "But I'm leaning toward keeping it."
