Sleeper Picks: AT&T National
Jul. 6, 2010
The PGA TOUR travels to Newtown Square, Pennsylvania for the AT&T National this week. Here's who the PGATOUR.COM experts like at Aronimink Golf Club:

EXPERT PICKS How it works: Our experts from PGATOUR.COM select the player they think will win this week's event. By using a draft process, no two picks can be the same. BOO WEEKLEY. Another guy whose ball-striking won't be questioned. He got some reps in earlier this week at the CVS Caremark and should be ready to go at Aronimink. Would make an excellent fantasy pick.

 |
 | MATT JONES. He's having a steady season with seven top-25s (best was T7 at Quail Hollow), and he's 12th in all-around ranking. Might not be the week he gets his first win on TOUR, but he'll be in the mix.

STEVE MARINO. I thought Marino would have won by now. I guess it's good, though, because that still makes him sleeper-eligible. Only two top-10s this season, but he's played well at some tough courses--Riviera, Pebble, Augusta National, Quail Hollow. |

BRANDT SNEDEKER. He's my go-to sleeper this year. After starting the season with four straight top-25s, he struggled for a few months but lately seems to be returning to form, notching a T29 at the St. Jude (in his home state) and a T8 at the U.S. Open. |

 |
SHAUN MICHEEL. Inspired by his mother's battle with cancer, he's playing his best golf of the season right now, rising to 70th in the FedExCup standings. Ranked 7th in putting average and 22nd in scrambling, he'll manage those tiny Donald Ross greens.
|

 |
BRENDON de JONGE. That T9 on Sunday was de Jonge's fourth top-10 of the season. The big man from Zimbabwe picked up his best finish of the season on a major-championship caliber course in Quail Hollow, and Aronimink should offer a similar test.

KEVIN SUTHERLAND. Ranks first on TOUR in greens in regulation and comes off a T13 at the Travelers, his second-best finish of the year. If he can get the putter going, he could make some noise.

RYAN MOORE. I was really impressed with his T13 finish at the Travelers last week. His T33 at Pebble and T5 at Memorial shows hope and it's only a matter of time before he squeeks into the top 30 on the FedExCup standings.

LAST WEEK: Helen Ross moved into the lead with Shaun Micheel's T34 in Connecticut, but the biggest mover of the week was Anne Szeker (8th to 3rd), courtesy of Bubba Watson's comeback win.
