Dustin Johnson shot a 16-under 270 to win his second straight AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am by one shot over David Duval and J.B. Holmes.
Prior to Johnson's birdie on No. 18 to win today, Davis Love III (2003) was the last player in the final group to birdie the 72nd hole to win the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. He won by one shot over Tom Lehman.
Defending champion Johnson, 25, becomes the second United States native in his 20s with three or more PGA TOUR victories. Sean O'Hair has won three events -- 2004 John Deere Classic, 2008 Transitions Championship, 2009 Quail Hollow Championship. Aussie Adam Scott (six wins) is the only other player in his 20s with three or more TOUR wins.

Johnson held a share of the lead after each round this week on his way to victory. Eight previous 72-hole winners of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am held at least a share of the lead for all four rounds -- Phil Mickelson (2005 and 2007), Tom Shaw (1970) Bert Yancey (1970), Lloyd Mangrum (1953), Jimmy Demaret (1952), Lloyd Mangrum (1948) and Ed Oliver (1940). Mickelson (2005) is the only wire-to-wire winner in tournament history.

Since 1936, there have been nine occasions in the United States where a major championship was contested on a course that also hosted a PGA TOUR event that same season. Tiger Woods (2000 and 2008), Jack Nicklaus (1972) and Ben Hogan (1948) are the only players to ever win both the TOUR event and the major championship that were held on the same course in the same year.
