PGATOUR.COM will have expert picks and sleepers for each Nationwide Tour event this year. Our experts -- Nationwide Tour producer Nick Zaccardi and Nationwide Tour Insider John Dell -- will each choose two players they consider favorites that week and a sleeper pick (a player who is not inside "THE 25"). Here are their selections for this week's Stadion Athens Classic at UGA. |

| Dell's picks | Zaccardi's picks |
| Patrick Sheehan. This week's defending champ has had a rough go of it so far this season with just two made cuts in seven tournaments. He's missed the last two cuts, but with memories of last season's victory it's time for Sheehan, a Tour veteran, to get going. His best finish this season is at T29 at the Panama Claro Championships. |
Chris Kirk. I've been looking forward to picking Kirk at this event for a few weeks. Not only is he one of the University of Georgia's best golfers in recent history, but he's also putting together quite a season on the Nationwide Tour. Fifth in "THE 25" standings, he's recorded four top-20s, including a playoff loss at the Moonah Classic. |
| Brandt Jobe. I'm going with another veteran to make some noise this week. Jobe has a little momentum after a third-place showing at the South Georgia Classic on Sunday. He was also T9 at the Panama Claro Championship in late February. Jobe has battled injuries the last few years on the PGA TOUR, but is feeling a lot better physically and about his golf game. |
Kevin Chappell. I'm not turned away by his missed cut at the South Georgia Classic last week, his second missed cut in the last three events. Chappell, the 2008 NCAA champion, has the goods. He displayed that in winning the Fresh Express Classic two weeks ago. Maybe a return to a university course and a college environment this week is just what he needs.

| Dell's sleeper | Zaccardi's sleeper |
| David Mathis. He spent last season on the PGA TOUR, but knows his way around the Nationwide Tour pretty well. Mathis has made two of four cuts this season and tied for 13th last week at the South Georgia Classic. He also tied for 16th at the Panama Claro Championship. Mathis, who picked up his only Nationwide Tour win in 2008, made 15 cuts in 27 starts last season on the PGA TOUR.

Mark Hensby. The Aussie skipped the South Georgia Classic last week after he made the field at the PGA TOUR's Zurich Classic of New Orleans via his alternate status. He finished 73rd at TPC Louisiana, but it looked much better until an uncharacteristic final-round 78. He's fallen to 36th on the money list but has experience in Athens. He tied for 32nd a year ago, albeit at a different course.
