Martin PILLER
A winner two weeks ago in Athens makes him the man to beat, especially since Bobby Gates, the leading-money winner, is playing on the PGA TOUR this week. Piller's got his game in great shape at the right time.
Kevin CHAPPELL
Since his win outside of San Francisco he has missed two straight cuts, but look for him to get back on track this week. He's too good to stay down long.
Mark ANDERSON
He has put together a solid stretch in his first season on the Nationwide Tour and playing in his home state won't hurt him this week. The former South Carolina standout has made six of seven cuts this season.
Gary CHRISTIAN
Had an impressive showing two weeks ago in Athens with a third-place finish. Christian, who is from England but played golf at Auburn, has made six of eight cuts this season and in his last two tournaments has finished third and tied for ninth.
Scott GUTSCHEWSKI
If his last round in Athens is any indication of what's to come then look out. He shot a 64, the best final-round score in 89 career starts on tour. He's sitting at 19th on the money list.
