A long six-week stretch for the Nationwide Tour will come to an end after this week's Price Cutter Charity Championship Presented by Dr Pepper at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield, Mo.

Players are continuing to jockey for position for the top 25 on the money list that will earn them PGA TOUR cards for next season.

After this week's tournament the Tour will have nine tournaments left before the year-ending Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island in late October.

Jhonattan Vegas became the 13th different winner in 17 tournaments so far this season when he won the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open.

He finished 20 under for the tournament Sunday and shot up the money list to seventh, putting him in great shape to earn his PGA TOUR card for next season.

"I feel really confident about myself to have this win," he said Sunday. "To have something like this, to hopefully take to the PGA TOUR, is special."

CASTRO
Talk about making up for lost time, Castro is red hot entering this weeks tournament, moving to 57th on the money list in only three events. He fired rounds of 64-63-67-71 to finish at 19 under, good enough for second place in Wichita.
Jamie
LOVEMARK
The leading money winner on Tour had the luxury of taking last week off so he might be a little fresher than some of the other players in Missouri. In his previous two starts he's finishing T19 and 2nd.

VEGAS
The Venezuelan's breakthrough victory came at a great time, vaulting him from 28th on the money list to seventh. The University of Texas alum has been pro for just two years, but is making big strides.
Colt
KNOST
He has quietly finished third in two of his last four tournaments, including this past week. He shot 70-64-64-68 and finished 18 under. At No. 21 on the money list he could use two or three more top-5 finishes to solidify his place on the money list.
Scott
GARDINER
He missed the cut last week in Wichita but tied for eighth at the Price Cutter Charity Championship last year. In three of his last five tournaments he has finished 6th, T23 and T11. He sits 54th on the money list.
