Mirimichi: Justin Timberlake's eco-friendly course is closed for renovations until July. In response to feedback from players, the course will be softened with changes like less-sloped greens.

Quail Ridge Golf Course: Former Pete Dye assistant David Pfaff created a difficult design featuring elevation changes, tree-lined fairways and a winding creek -- all just minutes from downtown.

Restaurant Iris: James Beard nominee Kelly English serves up French-Creole cuisine in a space transformed by noted interior decorator Jackie Glisson to evoke another Mississippi river city, New Orleans.
